Jump Rope for Heart
Update
Jumping for Hearts in Grenada
In the month of June, six teachers from Grenada were introduced to the JRFH program at an introductory workshop, facilitated by the Grenada Ministry of Sport. The teachers were all representatives of primary schools in Grenada. The workshop was organized by the Grenada Ministry of Sport in collaboration with TTASPE, and is part of a wider effort designed to promote health education and physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle program.

” Although there was not much time left into the term I couldn't resist the idea of showing the children a few skills and so I did.
I thought them a few of the skills that I have learnt in your workshop and others which I have learnt on my own from the book with the different skills. I am happy to report that they were interested in the skills. They all participated interestingly. I was happy to see that all was so interested in skipping, even the boys was participating fully.
It would be great if the ministry will be able to assist in purchasing the materials for the school because I assure you that for the next term we will certainly continue to jump for heart.”
