In February 2006, TTASPE launched the Game On! Youth Sports program in Trinidad with baseball being the first Sport offered. This project is to be expanded over the coming months and will see the inclusion of many other sports.

February 2006

A two (2) day Coordinators Workshop facilitated by National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) Vice-President Mr John Engh.

Game On!Program Launch by Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago and the Mayor of San Fernando.

March 2006

Two(2) pilot projects (Game On! Baseball) commence in Mon Repos and Realize/Mandingo communities.

Three (3) sessions are run for the children per week

April 2006

Equipment support received via the Global Gear initiative

April/May 2006

Ongoing review and support of pilot projects

June 2006 and beyond

Further Coordinators Workshops to be conducted throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
