GAME ON! YOUTH SPORTS

Overview

Throughout the world, an overwhelming majority of children have no opportunity to gain the many benefits sports provide. Ignorance of the value of sports is a major hindrance to the allocation of funding for facilities, transportation, and equipment necessary to create sport opportunities for children. TTASPE together with the International Alliance for Youth Sports (IAYS) believes that all countries throughout the world must work together to promote the value of sports.

The Mission

  1. To provide opportunities for children throughout the world to participate in healthy physical activities that otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to do so. Game On! Youth Sports is about ALL children
  2. The Game On! Youth Sports initiative is a two-tiered system allowing children (ages 8-13) to:
    1. Learn how to play a particular sport
    2. Play in a fun environment with minimum adult supervision
  3. We believe that sports are the outdoor classroom for children and their overall physical, psychological, emotional, mental and social development. Sport teaches life skills. It is our belief that the rules of sport are the rules of life.
