CGC Interns Return!
The CGC Connection...
TTASPE’s mission is to support the development of practitioners and professionals in sport, physical education and their allied fields, in their capacity to deliver quality experiences to their respective target audiences. It is with this vision in mind, that we have partnered with organizations such as Commonwealth Games Canada, an organization that realizes the value of a partnership as a means to link various projects and partners to maximize their impact and create an environment for sport for development that is long ranging and sustainable.
TTASPE’s partnership with Commonwealth Games Canada (CGC) continues to bear great value to both organizations. Through the placement of Canadian interns, TTASPE benefits from additional human resource to support our various programs, while interns enjoy an exciting and meaningful work experience.
CGC has provided invaluable support to TTASPE on many of its initiatives over the years, and as TTASPE continues to grow and evolve, we once again will welcome two new Canadian interns, Leszek Cwik and Jennifer Wong, in July 2008.
Leszek Cwik will be working in the department of Monitoring and Evaluation and Jennifer Wong will be working in the field of sport for persons with disabilities. From past experiences we know that the CGC interns have a lot to offer, and so, it is with great expectation that we welcome them to our shores and hope that this collaboration will continue well into the future as we seek to build and strengthen local capacities for sport and physical education.
